    Collection Specimen Cap: Convex to broadly convex with an involute margin when young and a wavy margin with age. Brownish at the center and creamy white outward. Pileus surface is smooth and covered in a thick glutinous slime when wet. Gills: Subdecurrent to decurrent. Thick broadly spaced gills. Creamy whitish coloration. Stipe: Fairly equally proportioned, smooth, dry to mildly moist, white coloration. Odor: Intoxicatingly pleasant, almost resembles almond paste or freshly baked sugar cookies, a true treat for the nose. Taste: Mild Spore deposit: White Ecology: Fruiting in the needle duff of conifers, in this case primarily redwood, grand fir, and sitka spruce.
